USAGE

1 - PREPARING THE MACHINE FOR USE

Secure the machine to the table with the clamp and place the turning handle in its socket. Before first use, the machine should be wiped with a dry cloth. To clean the dough roller, pass a piece of dough through the dough roller a few times and discard that dough.

2 - PREPARING THE MIXTURE

The basic ingredients for a single serving of pasta are approximately 125 grams of wheat flour and one egg. Note: For ideal taste, it is not recommended to use freshly taken eggs from the refrigerator! For four servings, you can use approximately 500 grams of wheat flour and 4 eggs. You can use water instead of eggs as desired. (1 egg = approximately 80 ml of water)

Add the eggs to the center of the flour and mix thoroughly with a fork until well combined with the flour. Knead the dough by hand until it forms a homogeneous mixture and becomes smooth. If the mixture is too dry, add a little water; if too moist or soft, add a little flour. A good mixture should not stick to your fingers. Transfer the mixture from the bowl and place it on a lightly floured table. If necessary, divide it into small pieces with a knife.

3 - MAKING DOUGH AND PASTA

Your machine has a dough thickness adjustment knob. Pull the adjustment knob of your machine outward and turn it to position “1”. In this way, two flat rollers will be fully open. Pass a piece of the mixture through the machine by turning the handle. Repeat this process 5-6 times, you can fold the dough and pass it through or add some flour to the middle parts if necessary.

When the dough takes a smooth shape, pass the dough once through the rollers at setting “2”, then in the same way at setting “3”. Continue until you reach the desired thickness. Place the dough on the table, lightly floured, and cut it into 25 cm long pieces. To use the cutting rollers, place the handle in the slot, turn it slowly, pass the dough through it, and obtain the desired shape of pasta.

Note 1: If the rollers are not cutting, it may be due to the dough being too soft. In such a case, add some more flour to the mixture and pass the dough through the flat rollers again.

Note 2: Similarly, if the dough is too dry, it may also cause the rollers not to cut. Add a little water to the mixture, pass it through the flat rollers again.

MAINTENANCE OF THE MACHINE

  1. During use, clean the scrapers under the flat rollers frequently with a paper towel.
  2. Never wash the machine under water or in a dishwasher!
  3. Clean the surface of the machine with a dry and soft cloth; and clean the rollers with a brush or a wooden stick.
  4. In case of squeaking and similar necessary situations, you can clean the rollers with vaseline or a vegetable oil.
  5. Do not insert knives or fabrics between the rollers!
  6. It is recommended to store the machine and parts in the box after use.

ATTENTION

  1. Do not touch the blades and rollers to avoid possible injuries and do not allow children to use the machine.
  2. For the healthy operation of the machine, adjusting the dough thickness should be done correctly from thick to thin.
  3. Be careful not to drop your machine and leave it in the sun.
  4. Avoid cleaning the machine parts with water to prevent them from rusting.
