British Berkefeld gravity-based portable water purification devices are designed for emergency situations. Campers, nature and outdoor enthusiasts can filter river and lake waters, well waters in emergencies, or municipal water at home. Separate filters are available for fluoride filtration.
Ceramic filter process
In general, the smaller the pore size of a filter and the more complex the path through which water passes through the filter medium, the more effective it is in separating particles from water. Ceramic material has a small and complex pore structure, making it an ideal filter medium.
