Hawos Oktagon has 9 settings. By using the adjustment lever, you can adjust the fineness of the ground flour between 1 and 9. At setting 1, you can grind 125 grams of flour in 1 minute, while at settings 4 and 5, you can grind approximately 250 grams. As you increase the setting, the grinding speed will also increase. We recommend not going below setting 1 for the longevity of your mill, as stones rubbing against each other at lower settings are not healthy for your machine. Once you have decided on your setting, you can start the mill by pressing the on/off button with grains in the hopper. When there are no grains left in the mill, you will hear the stones rubbing against each other. Close your mill after all grains have been ground.
