Hawos Oktagon has 9 settings. By using the adjustment lever, you can adjust the fineness of the ground flour between 1 and 9. At setting 1, you can grind 125 grams of flour in 1 minute, while at settings 4 and 5, you can grind approximately 250 grams. As you increase the setting, the grinding speed will also increase accordingly. To ensure the longevity of your mill, we recommend not setting it below 1, as the stones rubbing against each other at lower settings is not healthy for your machine. Once you have decided on your setting, you can add your grains to the hopper and start your mill by pressing the on/off button. When there are no more grains in the mill, you will hear the sound of the stones rubbing against each other. Once all grains have been ground, you can turn off your mill.
