Why should we grind our own flour? Of course, it is cheaper than buying from the market, but nothing can compare to freshly ground flour: With aromatic and healthy ingredients, there is an explosion of flavor while using freshly ground flour, which cannot be found in sterilized products. When grains are ground as whole grains, all nutrients are present in their entirety. This is quite difficult to find in industrial flours sold in supermarkets. The aroma and flavor provided by the essential oils and nutrients during grinding is impossible to find in ready-made flours. We can liken the difference between freshly ground flour and ready-made flour to the difference between freshly ground coffee and instant coffee. The relationship between flour ground at an unknown time and freshly ground flour can be likened to a sliced and oxidized apple (i.e., rapidly losing its nutritional value) compared to corn eaten freshly sliced; As food products are broken down, they come into contact with oxygen more and deteriorate quickly. In terms of practicality, unground whole grains can be stored for a much longer time without spoiling. With Komo mills, you can grind all grains, legumes, spices, as well as small, oil-free seeds, and even coffee beans finely. Essential nutrients such as magnesium, iron, B vitamins, and valuable plant proteins remain in the flour of whole grains. Why don't you give your body the natural foods it needs as much as possible? There is no turning back after tasting the difference once!
Komo Excellence in Stone Milling
Komo, a company that has been producing since 1985, exports to 65 countries today. All production is done in Austria in their own workshops by employees who are 85% disabled with love.
Motor
Komo mills are equipped with patented grinding technology at their core. Made of durable materials, all components are installed with millimetric measurements to provide a quiet, powerful, and continuous stone grinding operation.
Stones
Our grinding stones are made of Corundum Ceramic, a material that is durable and does not require sharpening. This material, which we discovered in 1985, is now standard in all Komo mills. These stones, made of Ceramic and Aluminum Oxide, do not require maintenance, sharpen themselves, and due to their super strong structures, machines with stones that have not been replaced for 30 years are still available in the market. It is not a problem if a wrong product (such as oily seeds) is fed into the mill; by grinding large-grain rice, you can restore the stones to their original state.
Longevity
All Komo products are designed and manufactured to work flawlessly for many years. All raw materials used are sourced from the strongest materials and sustainable sources. The entire production is done in Austria to ensure the continuity of quality.
Easy to Use
Using Komo machines is extremely simple. After opening the lid and adjusting the thickness setting by turning the hopper from side to side, you can start grinding or crushing. Without the need for any tools, you can easily access the grinding stones for cleaning by turning the hopper to the thick setting and opening the mill. To find the finest setting, turn the hopper to the fine direction until you hear the stones rubbing against each other. Then, turn it to the coarse direction until the grinding sound stops. You have now found the finest setting!
Elegant Design
We care about the exterior of our machines as much as the interior and create perfect designs brought by simplicity. Durability is also valid for the materials we use on the exterior as well as the internal mechanism. Solid wood used in local and quality furniture production is sanded and oiled as needed to achieve a brand new look.
Secure Packaging
After our products are carefully manufactured, they should be able to reach your home safely. We have taken all precautions during the shipping process to ensure that your valuable and cherished product arrives at your home without any damage. Thanks to the packages made impact-resistant with special compounds, you can be sure that your orders will reach your home smoothly.
Which Mill Grinds What
With the help of these symbols, you can easily understand what food your Komo device can grind. If there is a "*" sign in the table, it indicates that the machine can grind the specified seed. The example seeds given are a small selection from the food universe you can grind with your machine and are given to guide you. In general, you can grind all non-oily and non-moist seeds with your mill. Oily seeds can be crushed by all crushing tools.
What can be ground with KOMOMIO:
Wheat, oats, spelt-dinkel, rye, rice, barley, corn, maize, coffee, cumin, pepper, caraway, anise, or fennel, and many other spices. The mentioned materials are just a small selection given as an example, and of course, the foods you can grind are not limited to these.
How to Clean KOMOMIO:
Turn the hopper to change the 'Fine' setting to 'Coarse.' Fill with approximately 2 handfuls of rice and grind. If you are not going to use the device for a long time, turn the hopper 2 turns in the 'Coarse' direction and remove it, then you can clean the hopper and flour outlet with a vacuum cleaner to remove all residues.
