Designed with an internal key principle. The bottom area of the dripper actually increases the brewing instead of slowing it down, making the water flow smoother and the extraction more homogeneous.
There are 3 levels in the design
Layer A - Leakproof: The dripper is completely sealed to the flat top with a filter paper, preventing water from passing through gaps
Layer B - Brewing: Where the brewing process needs to take place
Layer C - Coffee bed: The saturated coffee will fill the bottom area with less obstruction and more channels to encourage water flow, thus reducing the risk of over-extraction.
