Designed with an inner key principle. The bottom area of the dripper actually increases the brewing instead of slowing it down, making the water flow smoother and the extraction more homogeneous.
There are 3 levels in the design
Layer A - Leakproof: The dripper does not allow water to pass through gaps with a filter paper that completely covers the flat top of the dripper
Layer B - Brewing: Where the brewing process needs to take place
Layer C - Coffee bed: The saturated coffee will fill the bottom area with less obstruction and more channels to encourage water flow, thus reducing the risk of over-extraction.
