Designed with an internal key principle. The lower area of the dripper actually increases rather than slows down the brewing, making the water flow smoother and the extraction more homogeneous.
There are 3 levels in the design
Layer A - Leakproof: The dripper does not allow water to pass through the gaps with a filter paper that adheres completely to the flat top of the dripper
Layer B - Brewing: Where the brewing process needs to take place
Layer C - Coffee bed: The compacted coffee will fill the lower area with fewer obstacles and more channels to encourage water flow, thus reducing the risk of over-extraction.
