Designed with an inner key principle. The bottom area of the dripper actually increases rather than slows down the brewing, making the water flow smoother and the extraction more homogeneous.
There are 3 levels in the design
Layer A - Leakproof: Completely sealed with filter paper to prevent water from passing through gaps on the flat top of the dripper
Layer B - Brewing: Where the brewing process needs to take place
Layer C - Coffee bed: The pre-wetted coffee will fill the bottom area with fewer obstacles and more channels to encourage water flow, thus reducing the risk of over-extraction.
